PDXbars Sez:
Holy beer list Batman! Tell the surley staff at Apex you want an IPA and they'll point (with a contemptuous glare) to their list of 50+ brews on tap and walk over to the next, hopefully more self-assured, customer. But the beer is delicious, and the spacious outdoor patio is not to beat for a sunny afternoon pitcher. Here you'll find large groups of young, Southeast Portlanders looking for a cold one on their bicycle jaunts down Division Street. While there is no hard liquor at this establishment, next door you'll find Los Gorditos who serve their mouth-watering tacos and sweat-inducing hot sauce to-go so you can enjoy them on the Apex's shared patio.
Pros
Certainly bicyclist friendly, with a nice sized patio, 50 some odd taps, seasonal roll up doors, and an airy, spartan design. Bike & motorcycle races play frequently on the TVs. No minors!

Cons
Beer/wine only, cash only (ATM fee reimbursed with purchase), snarky and sometimes downright contemptible service. More reasonable: bikes left in the bike parking longer than 48 hours are forfeited.
