In a sea of hip bars on Belmont, the Belmont Inn is the last vestige of Sunnyside's working class past. Though the smoking ban has been in effect for years, the Belmont Inn still manages to reek of cigarettes. The crowd is a mix of daytime drinkers, lifetime patrons and scared looking young hipsters who just came in to use the ATM for Wunderland Nickel Arcade down the street. Its a good spot if you're in the mood for fried food, a stiff drink and some televised sports, but a little intimidating if you're an attractive young woman out alone.
