Incredibly friendly and masterful service, excellent people watching, and the totally eclectic crowd ranges from rummies to rockstars to tourists. Its numerous imperfections (food,lighting, etc) actually make it what it is: a perfectly good bar on any night.

Cons
Sitting outdoors? Conversations interrupted approximately every 1 minute by spanging gutter punks and run of the mill downtown crazies.
