Here's to the repeal of prohibition! Circa 33 celebrates old-school and new-school cocktail-ery with classics like the Gin Fizz, Corpse Reviver and Damrak Sling, and new innovations like The Swagger, a tasty mix of grapefruit and bourbon. The food is decent, with their tasty macroni and cheese only $5 on happy hour. On Wednesdays, you can get a shot of Bulleit Bourbon, a beer and a burger for only $5, probably the best happy hour burger deal in town.

Circa 33 also probably has the best patio on SE Belmont. Located right between Aalto Lounge and Sweet Hereafter, Circa's alley-way smoking patio, as well as its storefront patio tables, stay open till closing while the others shut down by 10 p.m. They are also open for brunch on weekend mornings with bloody marys, mimosas and other hairs of the dog for your drinking pleasure.

Don't be in a hurry at Circa 33; they have precious few wait staff and its usually fairly busy. If you need a refill on your water, there's a cooler on the back patio.
